Full biography

Ankita Barwad is an independent Hindi indie-pop singer-songwriter and music content creator. Her voice is soulful and calming, and her songs are emotionally honest, written to be felt as much as heard.

Her path to songwriting runs through dance. That history lives in the music: songs with room to breathe, built around feeling first.

Her sound draws on a wide range of music and experience, held together by a plain, intimate approach: a voice, a guitar, and something true to say.

Across platforms, her music has more than 7 million total streams. Her duet “Khayaal”, with Arijit Anand, went viral on Instagram, and “Mil Ja Tu” was featured on the playlist cover of Spotify’s Fresh Finds Indies 2026 playlist.
